Cabinet replacing involves completely removing your existing cabinets and installing new ones. This is a good option if you want a totally new design, or if your current cabinet boxes are in poor condition.

 

The entire process typically takes 1-2 weeks, depending on the size of your kitchen and the complexity of the installation. This includes removal, installation, and any finishing work needed.

Cabinet refacing involves updating the exterior of your existing cabinets by replacing doors, drawer fronts, and veneers while keeping the cabinet framework intact. It’s a cost-effective way to give your kitchen a fresh look.

 

Cabinet refacing typically takes 2-4 days to complete. It’s much faster than cabinet replacement since the framework of your cabinets remains in place.

While painting your cabinets is the most cost-effective option, it may not offer the same long-term durability or increase in home value compared to other alternatives. But at the end of the day, the option is yours.
